GodL LoLzZz Leaves GodLike Esports After Nearly Five Years
One of the most familiar faces in Indian BGMI streaming is moving on. GodL LoLzZz confirmed on a recent livestream that he's leaving GodLike Esports, closing out a run that stretched close to five years. Hearing it straight from the creator himself put an end to the speculation that had been building.
LoLzZz — real name Yash Thakur — first linked up with GodLike back in September 2021, and he quickly became one of the org's steadiest creators. Plenty of names have cycled through GodLike's content roster since then, but LoLzZz stuck around: the daily streams, the creator events, and the collabs with other big personalities. For a lot of fans, he simply was part of what GodLike felt like.
So this isn't a small footnote. It's the end of a real chapter, both for the org and for the people who grew up watching his channel.
GodL LoLzZz's Journey With GodLike Esports
When LoLzZz joined in 2021, GodLike was in the middle of becoming one of the biggest esports names in the country. The org wasn't just chasing trophies with its BGMI roster—it was building a creator machine, and LoLzZz ended up being one of its load-bearing pillars.
Over the years, he turned into one of the most reliable BGMI streamers in India, full stop. Ranked grind, custom rooms, community lobbies, creator collabs — whatever the format, he kept showing up, and the audience kept growing with him. By 2023, he was the most-watched BGMI streamer on YouTube, and that channel has since crossed two million subscribers. The awards backed it up too: Powerful Streamer of the Year at the 2023 India Gaming Awards, then Streamer of the Year at the Gem Awards in 2025.
The easy, likeable energy is what kept people coming back. He built a fanbase that felt less like viewers and more like regulars.
